Accountant (Sr. level/Manufacturing) - Estimated Need 3 month timeframe

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to assist their accounting team for an estimated three month contract. The ideal candidate will have either construction and/or manufacturing industry experience, expertise in bank reconciliation, financial statement preparation, GAAP and General ledger and cost accounting. This role will report directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations
- Manage private equity transactions and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Cost or Inventory Accounting required
- Manufacturing or construction accounting preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in Sage a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience in private equity or public accounting is a plus
